I’ve totally seen My Teacher is an Alien and “All My Friends are Dead” is actually an extremely funny “grown up” picture book.

My Teacher Is An Alien was one of my fav books when I was a small wee bairn.
Tempted to hunt it down and have a read along with all those old Judy Bloom books. And the Wayside school ones…

Holy crap, I loved all of those books. If I recall, My Teacher Is An Alien had sequels, even.

I’m a Judy Blume fan. Well, when it comes to her kids’ stories. First adult story of hers I read, I didn’t like.

I remember the Bunnicula and My teacher is an alien books from elementary school!! If you think the titles and the covers of those cheezy romance novels of the past are hilarious you should look at the new ones at Target or any department store who still sells books. They’re just as worst.

A lot of people don’t know the history behind coloring Easter eggs, which is why my kids have never colored Easter eggs. They aren’t suffering for it.
Honestly, I’m more concerned with the people who believe coffin building is a DIY kind of weekend project?!

Very entertaining – had no idea there was even more weirdness than I am used to. The “How To Be A Canadian” got me thinking – since I came from Canada. Some thoughts: socializing centers around the table, people come to visit and stay for weeks, known for politeness and reserve, know how to skate from infancy and rarely complain about the cold.

These are great! Reminds me of Cat in the Blender and Horton Hires a Ho. But anyway, of this group the only one I actually saw at a bookstore was the dinosaur one called All My Friends Are Dead.
