I know this is a bit strange for me to post. However, I found it an enlightening and simple guide for women with normal proportions to play superheroes with abnormal proportions without the need for any surgical alterations. So, if you are a cosplayer, know one, or just find this interesting, this is a guide to improving your super hero cleavage for cosplay.

Its an interesting post but this is awful, in order for a normal woman to be able to replicate the abnormal body images in comics and games she needs to wear 3 padded bras and stuff them with socks?!?! Why can’t the artists just draw us a little more realistically? Aside from adding some optimistic muscle definition I don’t see them completely distorting the male figure to this extent. Its really disappointing and I’m a reasonably busty girl.

I totally agree. They need more normal dimensions in superhero women. It reminds me of the Disney controversy with Brave, where the character is normal but then they turn the doll into the barbie style princess. Unfortunately, I think they believe that comic readers are mostly teenage boy or young men who just want to see T and A. The manga cartoons are even moving towards huge bust sizes along with huge eyes.

I saw the Brave debate, I don’t know whats wrong with the world that they think they have to corrupt everything to unreal ideals. Nice to know I’m not alone though 🙂
