I am guessing this locomotive operated with about four horsepower…

That’s about the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! Probably wasn’t very practical, though.

Well, I guess if you put horses pulling a wagon on a road they go faster, so they must be able to pull even more on rails. Steam technology came along at the same time and kind of made it stupid. If steam power had not come around perhaps it would look normal to us.
