We had a great meeting out in Avondale. Lots of fellow authors and aspiring writers sharing and learning with each other. Writing can be a very isolating vocation and you spend a lot of time by yourself at a keyboard with your own thoughts. Meeting with others with the same passion, or curse, is very uplifting.
There is something grand about writing, we learn to listen to our own thoughts. There is also the time when we writers pick up a book ––– lo and behold it is written in a genre different than our own writing. Something magical happens ––– I am appreciating the quality of writing I encounter in the pages of The Traveler’s Club and the Ghost Ship.
