Student’s Faucet Design Saves Water By Swirling It Into Beautiful Patterns

March 6, 2015 •

Award winning designer, Simin Qiu, has developed a faucet that produces a spiralling stream of water and conserves 15% more water than yesterday’s faucet.

Two turbines inside the faucet head spin as the water flows through them, producing a latticed spiralling effect.

The water comes out gentler and faster, as it responds in .3 seconds as opposed to .7 seconds of a traditional faucet.

Where beauty and zen meets environmentally friendly

The faucet is powered by a push-button on top, and has three pattern settings.  Which would you choose?
